The music group, The Police, released a song called “King of Pain” on their 1983 album, Synchronicity. While I don’t think the song was about running, I sure felt like the king of pain during my latest training run. In this podcast, I talk about running with pain versus injury and how I deal with it.

Oscar Pistorius came close to qualifying for the South African 2008 Olympic Team only he wasn’t fast enough. His fastest 400 meters time is 46.56 seconds. The world record is held by Michael Johnson (43.18 seconds). In this podcast, I mention a few things I learned about Oscar Pistorius and how those things inspire me to keep running.
