2008 Patrick Henry Half Marathon Video

August 24th, 2008 · 4 Comments

My friend, Shelly, finished her first half marathon on August 23, 2008. She had a great run and was all smiles at the end. Several other folks from the team I helped coach became half marathoners for the first time. I tried to include everyone from the team in the video. Check it out! Congratulations runners!

I was doing my long run this week (yesterday) at the same time your team was running the half marathon AND I was listening to episode #24. After everything you said about Shelly, I was really rooting for her to finish the race. Not only did she finish, but she did GREAT! She should be proud. And, the video is an added bonus. What a great way to document the whole experience. Very nice job!

Hi Ashlan Dave! I really like your podcasts. One thing I’d like to see is your videos becoming iPod compatible as I’d like to be able to look at the shows when I travel. No big deal though. Keep up the great work man. Gordon in Scotland.

Dave, the video is great! Really appreciate your support throughout the summer weeks, which made running this half a good time, erasing all the bad memories of 2007. Thanks for taking on the coaching role; it fits you well because you do it superbly. Hope I’ll see you soon on some highway or byway.

Thank you, Cindy, and everyone else. I’ll never forget my 1st half-marathon and my wonderful coach, Ashland Dave. Good luck in your running! All the best, Shelly
