I love your podcasts. I too am a shift worker. I change shift every 3-4 days I work Day shifts, 4am- 1400, Eve shift 1400-2400 or Mid shift 2000-0600. I am fortunate that I can often run @ work on the Mid shift. However, I can't always count on that. So I often run when I am absolutely drained. I try to run daily because I know I will feel even worse if I don't. Sometimes I do wonder if I am benefitting from runs that I run when I am exhausted. How do you make the shift transitions and running work for you. I can manage on my shorter runs... 5mi. or less. But on Mids/Days cause of lack of sleep it is rough. The worse part is that my body does not get use to a schedule because I am only on a rotation at the most 4 days. Any suggestions. It helps when I run listening to people like yourself that keeps my mind occupied while running... Thank you Diane
