I traveled to Chesapeake, Virginia, which is normally an easy 2 hour drive, to check on my good friend Dr. Smitty who ran almost 30 miles in a heat index of 116 degrees. I got stuck in traffic and arrived just in time to hang out for the last 1.5 miles of his effort.

There is really no answer to the question but this podcast explores some of that line of thinking.
