I've got a 50k mountain trail ultra coming up and I've done no hill training. I wonder how that will work out? Also, the "MAP" run project here in Ashland has been going well and my running buddies and I are having some good fun figuring out how to cover all the roads. That and more in this podcast!

I've bounced back for the most part from my back injury. I think I can get in some long mileage weeks before the 50 miler on February 3. One of my problems is I have a side job that gets in the way on Saturdays. That and more in this shorter version of the Running in the Center of the Universe podcast. Thanks for downloading the show.

I fell down some steps and hurt my back pretty bad. As a result, I lost two weeks of training. This is not a good situation with a 50 miler scheduled for February 3, 2018 and then a 50k the month after that. This show has my commentary about that and a new "map run" project I hope to start soon. Thanks for listening!
