This podcast is about John Pendergrass. John is an Ironman many times over. He's completed Ironman events on several continents and he recently wrote a book about his experiences. Sandy Stiner is one heck of a runner. In this show we talk about the Blue Ridge Marathon which bills itself as America's toughest road marathon. Sandy and I ran the marathon together on April 20, 2013. But here is what's incredible about this story: Sandy ran the Martian Marathon the week before Blue Ridge, a 100k the week after, and then another marathon a week after that. And if that's not almost unbelievable, she is running a 100 miler the weekend of June 1, 2013! Enjoy the show. I usually don't incorporate hills training when I train for marathons. The reason is I like flat courses!
