I traveled Chesapeake, Virginia, which is normally an easy 2 hour drive, to check on my good friend Dr. Smitty who ran almost 30 miles in a heat index of 116 degrees. I got stuck in traffic and arrived just in time to see hang out for the last 1.5 miles of his effort.
