Episode #51 - Back on Track

Sometimes you have to alter your training plan depending on what messages you're receiving from your body. My body rebelled after running 40+ miles last week so I needed to dial it back a bit. But now I think I'm back on track and ready to increase the workload.

In this podcast, I've included an amateur audio commercial for the upcoming Ashland Railroad 10k Run. The race is in its 31st year and is the longest running 10k in the area.

In order to prepare for an ultramarathon I have planned for the first weekend in May, I've started running back to back long runs on the weekend. I hope this will train my body to run on tired legs. In this podcast, I talk a bit about the long run sandwich.
